Hometown: Elberton, GA
When did you move to Charlotte: After graduating from High School in 1993, I moved to Charlotte to attend Queens College.
What pushed you to construction: I married into the industry! My partner has been in commercial construction for the past twenty years and ignited in me a love for the building process.
What jobs have you held: I have worked in the administrative field for small, entrepreneurial businesses my entire career. After working as the Accounting Manager for The Denmark Group, in Atlanta, GA, for four years, I took on the most important job of all, being a Mother. After returning to work, I was employed by other companies in a bookkeeping/customer service capacity before landing my dream job at Carolina Classic Builders.

What do you like to do outside of work: When I am not working I prefer to be outdoors. Most weekends you can find me camping, hiking, mountain biking or rock climbing. I am also a registered 200-hr yoga instructor, and I enjoy sharing my love and knowledge of yoga with others.
Organizations or Community Involvement: For the past several years I have focused on volunteering at my children’s school as the Treasurer for the PTSO.
What passions do you have (work/personal, preferably one from each): My true passion is providing support and help to others, whether that is thru my job or being a good Mommy to my two children.
